As head of the Private Client practice, Yulia advises UHNWI/HNWIs on non-contentious matters, focusing mainly on family law cases and acquisitions of real estate, art and antiquities, fine instruments, and private aircraft/yachts.

With 18+ years of practice, Yulia is also particularly strong in philanthropic projects, and has been acting as a legal expert in drafting amendments to Russian legislation on charity and non-profit organisations, including preferential tax treatment and endowments.



Advising a Russian UHNWI on the legal and tax aspects of potential sale of two pre-owned business-jets in the UK and Switzerland, including negotiating and obtaining the manufacturer’s mandatory approval for the sale and drafting transaction documents for different sale scenarios. Advised a Forbes-listed individual on the legal risks involved in purchasing paintings and a collection of old medals, including assistance with their authenticity and provenance examination. Total objets d'art value: $6 m (2020-2021)

Advised a high-net-worth individual on all legal and tax issues regarding financing, acquiring, and importing into Russia two unique music instruments: a Stradivarius violin and a centuries-old cello. Average cost of each instrument: €1 m+ (2016)

Advises a number of high-net-worth individuals on choosing an optimal jurisdiction for marriage and prenuptial agreements in case of future divorce and/or division of property, and drafts nuptial agreements (on a regular basis)
