careful selection

Our firm’s corporate culture is based on the priority of hiring the best students and growing specialists into high level experts. We view each candidate as a potential partner and only if we can imagine you in this role will the other test results mean anything.

It is not our custom to weed out nine of every ten trainees, leaving only one on staff. Instead, we take great care in selecting a limited number of candidates so that everyone taken on as a member of the team experiences no internal competition. So newcomers can focus on fulfilling not student level tasks but actual parts of major and complex projects and on growing faster in their careers. Interested? Welcome!

who we want to hear from

A basic entry requirement is a good academic base: excellent knowledge of law and an ability to think for yourself. Also important are fluent English, the highest personal standards and a strong sense of responsibility; a constant desire to learn and grow and the ability to do so even if you have to work and study at the same time; professional integrity and an ability to keep secrets: we are really serious about legal ethics.

how we make our choice

We look at CVs and talk to people throughout the year but only hire three or four trainees or paralegals from among the best students of just a few leading law faculties. We are extremely discriminating in our selection: after successfully passing the HR and the written tests, the candidate is interviewed by the associates of the practice and then several of the firm’s partners. This can take a while, so be prepared!
