Advised UMMC, a Russian metals and mining major, on a complex cross-border deal for acquiring all the assets of Petropavlovsk Plc, one of the country’s biggest gold mining companies. Deal value: $600 m+ (2022)

Advising a venture capital fund focusing on impact investing on investments in several socially significant startups: charity services through mobile games, collection and recycling of waste materials, etc. (2022-present)

Advising an international investment group on a gas project in Uzbekistan for exploration of a gas field, future production under the terms of a production sharing agreement, and construction of a gas chemical complex. Total investment: $5.5 bn (2017-present)

Advised two lenders — Russia’s biggest bank, Sberbank, and Gazprombank, a Russian Top-3 bank — on syndicated loan financing for ten years to Messoyakhaneftegaz, a joint venture of two Russian Top-5 oil corporations, NK Rosneft and Gazprom Neft. Deal value: ₽100 bn ($1.6 bn) (2017)

Advised a Chinese real property major on the envisaged acquisition of a controlling stake in a Russian company with a large portfolio of commercial real estate in Moscow. Deal value: $650 m (2017-2018)
