Best Lawyers: acclaim by peers from the industry

On June 3, Best Lawyers published the results of its annual research on national legal markets. Forty-four of the firm’s legal professionals were recognised as Russia’s best lawyers in various practice areas, exceeding the number on last year’s list by 14. 

Best Lawyers is the world’s oldest legal ranking, also covering the Russian market since 2009. Unlike most legal market surveys which are based on project highlights of law firms and feedback from their clients, the research of Best Lawyers is focused purely on lawyers’ reputations in the professional community. The nominees are assessed through direct voting among their colleagues, who are listed in the ranking and practicing in the same region and in the same or a related area of law.
